Policies, Booking Information, and Client Disclaimers
GlowTech Nails is committed to providing a safe, clean, professional, and welcoming experience for every client. Please review the following policies before booking an appointment. By scheduling a service, you agree to these terms.
1. General Disclaimer
GlowTech Nails provides non-medical cosmetic nail services in accordance with Ohio Board of Cosmetology standards. We do not diagnose, treat, or advise on medical or dermatological conditions. Clients showing signs of infection, open wounds, or contagious skin or nail disorders may be asked to reschedule for safety under Ohio Administrative Code sanitation rules. All information shared by GlowTech Nails is for cosmetic and educational purposes only. Services are performed by a trained technician and are available by appointment only.
2. Health and Safety Compliance
GlowTech Nails follows all sanitation, disinfection, and tool-handling requirements established by the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board (Ohio Adm. Code 4713-15). All tools, implements, and work surfaces are disinfected between clients. Clients must disclose allergies, sensitivities, or medical concerns before services begin. GlowTech Nails reserves the right to refuse service if a condition may compromise safety.
3. Booking Appointments
All services require an appointment. Flexible and extended hours may be offered based on availability. To schedule, clients must provide their name, phone number, and a valid contact method. A confirmation message will be sent once the appointment is approved. Unconfirmed appointments are not guaranteed.
4. Cancellations and No-Shows
Please cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may require a deposit for future bookings.
Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may need to be rescheduled or may be moved to walk-in status depending on availability.
5. Payments and Refunds
GlowTech Nails accepts the payment methods listed at the time of service. All sales are final. Refunds are not provided for completed services under standard industry practice. Corrections may be offered at the technician’s discretion if concerns are addressed before leaving the appointment.
6. Children and Guests
Due to space and safety regulations, only clients receiving services may be present unless approved in advance. Unsupervised minors cannot be accommodated under Ohio safety guidelines.
7. Photography and Social Media
GlowTech Nails may request permission to take photos of completed nail sets for portfolio and marketing use. No photos will be taken or posted without client consent. Clients may request their hands or identifying features not be shown.
8. Right to Refuse Service
GlowTech Nails reserves the legal right to refuse or discontinue service for any reason including:
• inappropriate or disrespectful behavior
• health concerns or visible infections
• safety issues
• unpaid balances or repeated no-shows
9. Products and Allergies
Some products may contain ingredients that could cause irritation or allergic reactions. Clients with known sensitivities must disclose them prior to service.
GlowTech Nails is not responsible for reactions caused by undisclosed or unknown allergies.
10. Satisfaction and Adjustments
Clients should report any concerns before leaving the appointment. GlowTech Nails aims to ensure every client leaves happy, confident, and excited to return. Adjustments or repairs are handled according to the service guarantee below.
11. Regular Polish Policy
Longevity of regular nail polish cannot be guaranteed. Chips, smudges, or fixes after completion may incur an additional charge.
12. Gel, Acrylic, Dip, Hard Gel, or Overlay Guarantee
Clients must contact GlowTech Nails within 72 hours of service to evaluate any issues.
• If the issue was caused by GlowTech Nails, repairs are free.
• Repairs must be completed within 48 hours of contacting us.
• If damage is due to lifestyle or improper aftercare, standard repair fees apply.
13. Service Details and Pricing
All manicure and pedicure services include basic nail care.
Enhancements, gel polish, overlays, art, or specialty services are additional.
Prices may change at any time based on product cost or service upgrades.
14. Gift Card Policy
GlowTech Nails is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards. Balances are nonrefundable and may not be exchanged or credited if misplaced.
15. Late Arrivals
Clients have a 10-minute grace period. Arrivals beyond this window may be rescheduled or placed as walk-ins. If a specific technician was requested, a late arrival may require switching to the next available tech.
16. Additional Right to Refuse Service
GlowTech Nails may refuse service if a client demonstrates inappropriate behavior, poor hygiene, unsafe conduct, or has outstanding unpaid balances.
